West Midlands Lord-Lieutenancy announce the new Lord-Lieutenant, Derek Anderson.

The Birmingham Commonwealth Association (BCA) is very pleased to announce that the Lord Lieutenant for the West Midlands, Derrick Anderson CBE, who serves as His Majesty King Charles 3rd personal representative in the region, has kindly accepted the BCA’s invitation to become a BCA patron.

Chairman of the BCA, Keith Stokes-Smith said

“We are very pleased to have the support of the Lord Lieutenant, the representative of King Charles 3rd in the West Midlands, as clearly, his majesty, is also head of the Commonwealth.”

Today, the Commonwealth is involved in a range of initiatives including environmental protection, education, trade, Commonwealth Communities and associated diaspora within the region.

Derrick Anderson CBE said;

“I am delighted to accept the invitation to be Patron of BCA, it chimes well with His Majesty The King’s priorities and I look forward to working with all involved.”
