Tessa Sanderson CBE

During her 26 years competing for Great Britain, Tessa was voted Sports Personality of the Year and Athlete of the Year (3 times) by the Athletics Writers Association. She also presented the Sports News for 2 years for Sky Television. Her media career involved television presenting at the BBC, ITV, Bloomberg, GMTV, and Talk Sport Radio. 

Paul Sabapathy CVO CBE

Dr Paul Sabapathy CVO CBE was born in Chennai in India in 1942 and moved to the UK in 1964, becoming a British Citizen in 1984. He has Masters Degree from Aston University and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. 

Derrick Anderson CBE

West Midlands Lord-Lieutenancy announce the new Lord-Lieutenant, Derek Anderson. The Birmingham Commonwealth Association (BCA) is very pleased to announce that the Lord Lieutenant for the West Midlands, Derrick Anderson CBE, who serves as His Majesty King Charles 3rd personal representative in the region, has kindly accepted the BCA’s invitation to become a BCA patron.
