Martin Levermore

Prof Martin Levermore, CEO of Medical Devices Technology International Ltd (MDTi). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, having an academic background in Political Economics. He is a visionary leader and a serial entrepreneur. He was made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) in 2013 for Services to West Midlands’ Businesses

Martin Chair’s the Birmingham Commonwealth Association Trade and Business group along with Medilink West Midlands and Vice Chair/Treasurer for Nehemiah United Churches Housing Association (UCHA) the largest BAME housing association in the Midlands.

Martin has been a leading expert for over the past 15 years in the field of Medical Innovation and Structural Healthcare, he has been published widely in a number of academic journals and his work has recently been recognized by Birmingham City University with the appointment of Visiting Professor for Health, Education and Life Science. His current work involves looking at Biosensor devices to better improve long term condition management.

In May 2018, Martin was Gazetted by the Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands to act as one of his Deputy Lieutenant.
